A shoulder ride, an Abba night and 2 wise men!

Here is Lydia enjoying a birds-eye view of the kitchen!

And this is Phoebe at the very start of her climbing phase - it's all a bit scary!

Just before Christmas we held our SFG social in the form of an Abba night. I haven't got a clue who these people are...

And if you thought they were cute, check out these 2 wise men....

Sam is now 7!

Sam had his Birthday party in Ants in ya Pants again this year. Here he is proudly showing off his Dr Who cake...The boys were both amazing in their school Christmas productions this year. See if you can spot Daniel in this first one. A huge thanks to Grandad for the loan of the hat!

And here is Wise Man 3 doing his bit...

Horses, bikes, doctors & feeding time at the zoo!

During the school half-term we visited Cantref farm, near Brecon. The boys had a great time....

After all the time spent in various hospital wards, it is interesting to see Lydia's favourite choice of toy! I recon Lydia will become a doctor and Phoebe will work in a shoe-shop!

With so many hungry mouths to feed, we came up with this innovative solution. The boys love feeding their sisters, and they have become really good at it! Mum and Dad are just off the picture putting their feet-up with a cup of tea! (we wish!!!)

Should I leave Daniel in the Monkey Enclosure?

OK, so on a visit to Bristol zoo it was very tempting to leave Daniel with the monkeys, but Sam managed to persuade us to bring him home again. Here are a couple of photos from our visit. I took the one of the lion, as this is the first time I have seen them come close to the front of their enclosure. I normally have to strain to see them asleep right at the back!

Check out Lydia's hair!

Lydia might not be growing quite as fast as Phoebe, but her hair growth is certainly making up for it!!!!

Sam has some new front teeth!

I was conscious that if you've been following the blog you will have seen Sam lose various teeth over the past year, so I thought it appropriate to show you his new front teeth!

And here are a few photo's of the girls. Please excuse Phoebe's runny nose!

And here is Lydia showing off her skills with her car!

FANTASTIC News regarding Lydia

We have been continuing to take Lydia for various hospital check-up's and so far we have had really encouraging news that her heart repair is doing well, her eyes are developing normally, here hearing is doing OK, and today was the next check-up with the neo-natal team to see how she is developing. The great news is that they were pleased with her progress and have now fully dishcharged her!! This is a major step and we are so grateful for all your ongoing prayers and support. Thank You all!

She has a further heart-check-up in November, and will need ongoing heart checks for life, but apart from that she is pretty much fully discharged from the hospital!

As you may have gathered from all the latest photos, Phoebe is also doing really well and this week has started walking "properly". She is already climbing the stairs and both girls are "in to everything" as you can imagine!

I'll try and post more photo's soon, and maybe even a video!

Phoebe is walking & Lydia crawling

Just a couple of photos showing Phoebe up to her usual trick of emptying out the only kitchen cupboard without a child-lock and Lydia in her high-chair...

What a super "deep-end"!

We must have had more sunshine this summer than people think, as most of my photos seem to show good, warm weather. This was probably the last outing of Daniel's new paddling pool for this season.

Love is in the air!

We enjoyed seeing the Russell's at the end of July, but were a bit worried about Daniel's enthusiastic attraction to Betsan. It was certainly love at first sight...for him anyway!

Mum's Birthday!

Helen enjoyed having her Birthday on holidays. We spent the day in Tenby and the sun shone all day!OK, so you might have guessed that this photo wasn't taken in Tenby, but we enjoyed a family cuddle in bed before breakfast! I must get a bigger bed at home sometime soon!

Here is Sam checking for a suitable slot on the beach!

Lydia is starting to get used to the feel of sand....

..and Phoebe enjoyed eating as much sand as she could get her hands on....yuuuuuck!

Fortunately there was no sand on the menu for Helen's Birthday lunch!

Didn't we have a lovely time the week we went to Saundersfoot!

We had a super week away in Saundersfoot at the end of July (despite taking Grandma & Bamps and Nanny & Grandad with us)!!! What a house-full!

The windbreak was dusted-off and here you can see Bamps digging the footings for our sea-defence!

Lydia wasn't sure what to make of the sand, but still managed to keep smiling!

..and Phoebe enjoyed a nice cuddle with Grandad!

"Come-on Bamps, hurry up and take this photo, I can't feel my feet"!

"The boys" really enjoyed a day out at Folly-farm!

And this was our gorgeous cottage!

Sunshine & Daniel's Glasses

We saw some more sunshine in June as you can see from these photos taken enjoying the paddling pool and water slide in the back garden...

Daniel also had his first pair of glasses in June, after being diagnosed as being VERY long-sighted. He will need glasses for the rest of his life, but can obviously see the difference as he has wears them all the time with no problem at all!

...and here are Nanny & Grandad with the tribe!
